Hello all! My name is Corinne Bisland. Although I enjoy many things in life, my greatest passion is Photography. I recently graduated from Colorado State University Fort Collins with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Photography. I also focused much of my studies on Human Development & Family Studies. My business currently freelances, but I plan to open a studio in the future! I spent half of my life with my heart set on being a fashion designer, but that instantly changed when I picked up my first camera. So unlike most kids, I knew what my career would be before I entered high school. I have actively shot photographs for 10 years. As the years have gone by I have learned a lot about the camera, photographs, lighting, and perfecting myself as an artist. In college I explored all fields of art which has built my confidence in my capabilities. Just in the photography field I have worked with large format, medium format, and 35mm film while bringing my photographs to life in not only a black & white darkroom, but also a color darkroom. Along with digital and ink jet printing. I'm constantly working to improve my skills but I feel I have currently achieved a professional set of skills. Other aspects of my life include backgrounds in dance, figure skating, and pageantry. For now my life is dedicated to working with children and photography.
As for my personal life:
I am part of a big family of 6. My Dad and Mom, married 30 years, brought 4 children into the world. I'm a middle child with 2 older brothers and a little sister. I have a lovely man and fiance in my life named Michael. We have been engaged for over 3 years are have set our wedding date for July 9th of next year. I'm a nurturing and caring type of person. I'm dedicated to many things in my life and know I have priorities straight. Although I'm still young, I know exactly how my life will be mapped out. When I set my mind on something, I won't stop until I achieve it!
